Description

A delicious and creamy potato soup made easy in the slow cooker, loaded with flavor and perfect for chilly evenings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups of diced potatoes
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup of diced onion
  • 1 cup of milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the diced potatoes, onion, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Stir to mix.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or high for 180-240 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the milk and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a thicker soup, mash some of the potatoes before adding cheese and milk. Use different cheeses like Pepper Jack for a unique flavor.
