Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Increase heat to medium-high and add ground beef, breaking it apart and cooking until browned.
  5. Stir in soy sauce and add broccoli florets.
  6. Cover and let steam for 3-5 minutes, or until broccoli is tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a splash of rice vinegar or chili flakes. You can also swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken.
